Okay, first the bad. The instructions are pretty awful - especially when you're assembling the most important parts of the swing. The screws are in bags all labelled, but I had 3 bags labelled 6 (or 9) and one bag was ripped open with screws all over the place - luckily all parts were in the box. I put this together by myself ( I am a petite woman) and it took about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. My advice to you is to loosely assemble the parts until the frame is mostly together because you need to flex it a bit to fit pieces correctly - THEN tighten all the screws down. The good news is after you assemble it IT IS AWESOME! I love it - SO comfortable. I can fully stretch out on it and plan to do so often for a nap in the garden. I think it will hold up well and it seems sturdy but light enough that I can move it without too much trouble if I want to. I think with some basic care this will last me quite a few seasons.
